Hello!

Just posting to introduce myself. I'm "JohnG" AKA The Zoo Keeper. I have owned and worked on 200/700, and now 900 series Volvos since 1988. Did you notice that ALL those models are RWD? So far, I've been lucky enough to find mostly cars with M/Ts, although I have had two with A/Ts ('85 745, and current '96 960).

I'm an ASE certified Heavy Truck mechanic from MN. I really enjoy good cars, and my family. Here is a history of or Family Volvos:

1978 242GT MT
1979 244DL MT
1982 244D AT converted to MT, and yes that IS a "D" as in Diesel...GREAT car!
1985 745GL AT
1986 244DL MT*
1987 744TI MT* (CLeanest 740 in MN, for sale!)
1989 244DL MT*
1989 245DL MT*
1996 964?? AT*

I have spent the last few days "browsing", and am looking forward to becoming a regular contributor.
