My trusty 83 GL which runs like a top had an unfortunate incident with a Tractor Trailer. This was one of those low speed accidents but he pretty much crushed my drivers side doors. The month before that a local deer had the nerve to run out in front of me and now my hood is whacked!!
But I'm still driving her with the dents and all. Actually the doors still lock and the hood closes if you can believe it, but it looks like shit.
The car was perfect prior to this, but I'm tired of fixing her up. Everything is practically new. You name it, I replaced it.
New motor mounts, new harnesses, new alternator, new fuel pumps, new injectors, re-upholstered................................................ but it looks like shit now. Unless you look at it from the passenger side. Oh I forgot to mention the beautiful new Borbet wheels and new Yokohama Avid Touring tires.
I know its not worth what I put in, but do you think $1000 is too little or is it worth nothing at this point. Maybe I should drive it into the ground???
