wheel seal problems 200 1993

Hi All,

The search function doesn't seem to be working right now, so sorry if this has already been answered.

I am replacing my front wheel bearings and i am having a hard time
getting the hub to seat properly on the spindle (by the time i get the nut on it takes a lot of force to get the hub to spin). I think the problem is that the rubber seal
is binding. is the seal supposed to grab the inner most "boss" or rest against it?
can anyone offer any advice?
