Installing OEM front armrest...did I bust something 200

Hey all,
In my attempts to install the front armrest I think I busted something internally. The seatbelt bolts were extremely tough to unscrew and as a result I placed a lot of pressure on one of them and suddenly the right one became quite loose, but now I can't remove it and it won't screw tightly back into place. Before doing anymore damage did I strip the bolt or is something really messed?? I can hear it touching metal but again won't tighten.
Thanks!
-Adam
