NO START BECAUSE OF WIRING HARNESS 200 1983

My NO START problem is the wiring harness is shot. We traced it from the coil to the starter section. Everything in that harness is coming apart.

THE question IS: I have a lot of rust on this '83 - 240. Is it worth replacing the harness? They run about $250 used. Any suggestions would be helpful.

There is extensive directions on the FAQ on replacing the harness and I will be using that if I replace it.
