What is best method to reattach brake line into caliper? 200 1990

I need to replace the squeeking rear pads. I also have never had the disks resurfaced so I plan to do this also. When I replaced the caliper a couple of years ago, I had an awful time getting the line reattached. Are there any tricks that make the job easier?
