Gentlemen, Pimps, & Players,
It has been a short while since I've posted. Well, in that time all the mechanicals have been brought up to snuff on my 1990 240. Most recently, the a/c is blowing a crispy-cool 48 degrees at the vent when driving.
However, a month ago, when I replaced the steering universals I inadvertantly f#@ked up my clock spring... My car steered so much better but I got the drama of the clock spring & a glaring SRS light on the dash as a small gift in return. Yesterday, I finally replaced the c. spring & reset the SRS using the Brickboard Archives. Easy enough... The end result was: light on the dash is still on, I've got no horn, and the SRS fault code is flashing a 5-8-10. Seriously!
It is a good thing I love this car. Please help me figure out what went wrong. A small contingent of people are clueless. My Bently Bible, super-awesome-indy Volvo guy, nor I can provide the information necessary to figure this out.
Thanks, Jon GO EAGLES!!!
