940's in general 900

so iam looking at buying a 1994 940 series coup with about 100,000 miles on it and i was wondering what the general consensus is on the 900 series before i plunk down the cash. i'am trying to avoid a high repair car as a sophmore in college.
any help would be gladly appreciated
