Hi All,

A few months ago I bought a '91 Sedan of the 240 persuasion. As you can imagine I have learned more about the character of the former owner than I care to know - LOL..
Well, he didn't do his maintenance. I have replaced most of the front bushings and traced all the sounds coming from the front suspension, nothing major, just bushings and labor costs. Today I spent the afternoon replacing burnt out dash lights, new shifter console, and tightening nuts and bolts here and there.

Due to the work of the frontend and all those nice and tite bushings, in the garage I can see that the backend seems to sag a bit, and it looks like it does so more on the left driver side than on the passenger side. I imagined that the springs were bad, or that I need new shocks, or worse, that I need all new rear end bushings. Or that the former owner had a really huge mother who drove the car and pulled the boat to the lake on weekends.

I have a good garage to do my work. They said the trailing arm bushes are still in the normal zone. That's good because I don't have the dough to replace all bushings and the labor...

Is there any way I can tell what the cause of the sag is? Assuming it is not bushes?
