Hi,

Can anyone tell me what I should expect price-wise to have a reputable mechanic replace the headgasket on my 1990 745T? Also, what else should be done at the same time this work is happening? My car has 118k miles, has never overheated, and runs great, but there is oil now appearing in my coolant overflow tank, so I guess it's time.

I'd like to get a sense of what to expect price wise.

I'd sure value any input from anyone who has "been there, done that". Thanks for all your great advice - this is a great board!!
