The current thread in the 120-130 Forum re Erik's M41 raised a question in my mind about the M41 in my PV. The only support the OD unit gets is from the gizmo that supports the gear box, i.e., there is no additional support under the OD unit itself. I have a substantial piece of flat bar spanning the tunnel beneath the unit, and it would be relatively simple to fix a rubber support cushion on it. Is that sort of thing necessary? Have others done this when they put M41s into their PVs?
