Has anyone done this swap before? I once replaced the hood & fenders on my 84 245 with a front clip from an 81... a no brainer swap. Everything fit perfectly.
I now have a complete front clip from an 84 260 wagon (in dark red). I just saw an 88 240 on Ebay (in the same color) with a wrecked front end. I know the fenders & hood are different than mine, but if I used the entire clip, bumper to firewall, would there be any problems? Are the inner fenders the same from 86 + up and the older ones? I actually like the older style anyway.
