Good morning

The car was hit on the side by an suv. front door is bashed in. However, it still functions, as far as opening and closing.

We discorverd that there is a crease, a small one, on the door frame, just below the lower hinge.

Im wondering what effect this will have if another door is intalled.
I can get another door at pick and pull, for around $50. Once its installed, im not looking for perfection, but just that it function reasonably well. I just want to get another 40,000mi, at least. The car, now, runs , and rides, great.

I want to install the doors, get it painted, and get on with it.

The assessor cut a check for $1370. This is minus the $500 deductilbe, which Iam suppose to get back later. This is $100 short of being totalled

For what its worth: words from the assessor "if you're going to get in an accident, do it in a volvo".
