I do appreciate your reply. It gives me clearer explanation for others of the title I have on my 91 940 - which says 'REBUILD'.

My story was that I made a deal with the insurance company after a wreck - car could be driven - but money to fix was more than asssessed value. I got it fixed - then found I had to be a licensed rebuilder to get the title reversed from salvage to rebuilt. Finally got it all done. Just hard the way the state had it set up.
