engine dies and stalls when it reaches operating temp 700 1984

I have an 84 -240 b23 with close to 200,000 miles
when the engine reaches operating tempature it starts to stall and enventually dies. Black smoke and it seems to be burning rich.

I suspect the air mass sensor or pressure regualtor.

I cant afford any testing euipment and I know an air mass sensor isn't cheap.

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions
