APA & MTC hoses from Groton. OK or not to use ??

I am looking to replace the expansion tank 3 way hose and both heater hoses and the heat control valve. FPC Groton has these hoses from APA & MTC - A WHOLE LOT LESS than factory prices. Should I use them?

Help me here if you can - too.
I am having a problem getting my system sealed off - the expansion tank hose will not stop leaking at the radiator end. Do these hoses become porous with age? The reason I ask is that the hose itself seems to be fine - but I can't tighten it enough to stop the ozzing. The ozzing has somewhat an oily feel, and it almost seems to be coming through the hose. I am wondering if the coolant is picking up something from this hose that is 10 years old causing the oily feel.
