Star Brite Liquid Electrical Tape

I recently acquired an 87 744ti at the local Goodwill auction. It has some issues with the wiring harness. I remembered that Don Foster had mentioned he used "Liquid Tape" to repair a harness with good results. I was able to find Star Brite Liquid Electrical Tape at Home Depot. A 4 oz. container was $6.00. It was in their electrical department on a small display attached to the shelving along with rolls of electrical tape of various colors.

Sorry, I can not report on its effectiveness at this point but it seems to be a possible solution. It builds up at a rate that suggests three coats will provide the protection I want.

Finding it locally helped me avoid the minimum order problem of catalog/internet sales as well as shipping costs.
