Oil trap 700 1989

Hi again

I'm toying with the idea of cleaning my oil trap. Having some tiny amount of leak from distributor, valve cover and maybe one of the front seals. Flame trap is clean and so the nipple in the manifold. I've replaced the small hose too. I can't do the jiggle test as I have a plastic cap.

Problem is and this is an understatement, the layout of the K-jet. I can barely see the oil trap let alone even imagine taking it out. I don't feel all that confident of taking out all the intake manifold nor the hoses and lines etc that's in the way. The FAQ makes it look easy but my understanding it's with the b230F.

Is there an easier way to tackle the oil trap on a K-Jet? Anyone done this before?

Thanks.
