240 sheet metal 140-160

Hi,

I am the proud owner of a pretty rusty '72 142. In some recent threads people have mentioned 240 doors and interior panels being more or less interchangable with 140 series cars.

Am I wrong to jump to the conclusion that some sheet metal is similar enough to be used to repair rust? My 142 would be a lot happier with new quarters and windshield sill/A pillars.
