rough running engine, rotating the engine, air filter removal 140-160 1973

Hello,

I just picked up a 73 142s that is running rough and I'm not familar with the b20f or fuel injection. I have a 122 so I am familar with the b18, but with carbs.

Anyways, I pulled the plugs and #3 was black and caked. All the others looked OK (tanish). Does this sould like a leaking injector on #3? Do I need a new one? I did a quick search for vacum leaks and didn't find any.

I went to check the valves and realized I couldn't get a wrench on the bolt that holds the bottom pulleys so I could rotate the engine. My 122 only has 1 pulley and I could get a wrench on it to turn it, but this has two, with the 2nd sticking out further then the bolt. My first thought was to pull the fan off and get a socket on it, but then I thought someone here probable has a better solution. (actually, i just thought maybe a wrench with an offset head? Its 7/8th right? so maybe all I need is a trip to sears)

I was looking at the round plastic thing that holds the air filter. How do I get that off with out messing it up? Anybody take that out and run pvc hose to a K&N filter behind the grill? (or some other solution) Did it help? Any pictures?

I need new front turn signal lens. Anybody know of a good cheap source?(not ebay)

thanks
shane
