I just finished the clutch job tonight by getting the driveshaft back in and spliced in some new wires to the trans harness.
Anyway, I've tried and tried to bleed the clutch but still no dice. I've used my vacumn pump, done it manually with my wife pumping the pedal and it gets close, but not quite there. I can start the car and get it into third but no other gear engages as the clutch isn't disengaging completely.
Each time we start to bleed I get a good spurt of air, then clear fluid for another 4 or 5 cycles.
I'm having her pump twice and hold while I crack the bleed screw and watch the fluid in a clear tube to a can half full of fluid.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated as I'm near the end of my rope and Leigh is starting to complain about the dead 740 in the back.
All this after may last post regarding bleeding too.
Thanks,
