OK. I have a 1980 2 door DL, with a brown interior, and want to change everything to black. A lot of good parts at the pick 'n pulls, but some things, like interior door panels I may need/want to buy new, if they are still available. Any black panels from any year -- preferably a later one -- will be fine. I'm going for appearance, not authentic accuracy here. Problem is that in my factory parts fiche, they only list the various upholstery codes for the various years by part number (not by year) with the simple description of "black." I know that some of the door panels were all vinyl, some were vinyl with cloth sections, some of the closth was vertically ribbed, some diagonally ribbed, etc.

Does anyone have a source of better descriptions of the various black interior upholsteries so I can try to identify the actual ones that may be available and which ones I would consider ordering ?
