I went through the FAQ advice and made sure everything in the linkage was working right, checked the pivot shaft and made sure it was lubed properly. Still goes all jerky when it parks or if you try to run intermittent mode. Also blows the fuse when this happens, so I have gone through ALOT of 15 amp fuses.
Next step was to take the motor apart and clean the armature and brushes. Made sure no binding and everything properly lubed there too.
STILL has the problem, in fact, it does this even when there's no load on the motor - though it's less likely to blow the fuse this way.
Questions - Is there a grounding point for the motor somewhere other than right at the door? That's the last thing I can think of, unless there is a relay somewhere?
The time of the Great Rain is upon us here in NW Washington and I'd really like to be able to use that wiper.
BTW, anybody have experience with a spoiler on one of these wagons? I'm wondering if it might help direct airflow to keep some of the spray off the back window.
THANKS!
