Hi all, I got the panel out thanks to responses to prior post. Heres my question, I beleive my car is pre-wired for tach due to the fact that there is a red/white wire coming from the #1 post on coil, but I can't find that same wire inside my dash..any clues on where it would be? There is a red/white wire that goes to my insterment panel, into the plastic circular piece that connects to the prongs on the rear of the cluster. Is it that one? If so how do I connect? I was suspecting when I entered, that the red/white wire would just be waiting to mate with the new tachometer, but it wasn't...Thanks for the tips, Franco79 245dl 218k

He said he has a few and must have sent the wrong one. I would have just been salty about it and never bid on ebay again if I hadn't read your responses. Thanks!
