My immediate family drives four 240 wagons and one 240 sedan. I have the opportunity to salvage parts very cheaply from 6 crusher destined 240s that are parked in the back of a body shop and I need advise about what parts are worth pulling. These Volvos are not running that I know of and some parts undoubtedly have already been pulled. My brother(three 240s) and I(one 240) will be working together, but we won't be able to use any power tools, a torch or a lift. The tools we'll be using will be a floor jack, jack stands and the usual hand tools. We will have strong backs and weak minds:) Everything we pull will be untested. The parts I've thought of already are: grills, seats, door and hatch hinges, lenses, mirrors, wheels, hub caps, floor mats, radios, alternators, AC compressors, AMMs, computers, coolant and washer bottles, wiper motors and PS pumps. We won't be pulling engines, transmissions or steering racks. Is any of the glass worth pulling? Depending on their condition we might try a hood and a wagon hatch. There are some used parts that I'm not 100% comfortable using, i.e. brake calipers and brake master cylinder. What else should I be thinking of?
