Oval rear TA bushings? 200 1988

I got new rear trailing arm bushings yesterday, and the steel outer shell is oval! I can't believe this is right, but both bushings are same, about .050" difference from major to minor dia. The parts came from FCP Groton, and they list them as "Boge". The parts do say "made in Germany".
No wonder this job is reknowned as such a pain, pushing oval parts into round holes! Is this right?
