CR 814 radio lights 900

I replaced the radio in my 740 with a CR-814 to enable me to play CDs. The volume dial is not lit like the frequncy dial. Before I start pulling the radio apart, am I currect in assuming the volume dial should be lit like the frequency dial.

I can probably canablize my old radio for the light...
