No rear speakers?! 200

Hi! I am trying to install a new cd player in my 1987 240 wagon. I haven't actually started the process yet because I'm trying to plan everything out so that it will go smoothly. The main problem I have now is that there are no rear speakers in my car! I have some speakers I can put in the back, but I would have to put them in speaker boxes. I just wanted to see if anyone else has this problem and if there were any other solutions besides having tacky boxes in the back of my car. Does anyone know anything about this? I'd love to hear anything anyone has to say about this. Thanks for your help!
