Hi: I am asking if any of you have found that a weak ignition coil would cause ,I would call it a weak starting, that is to say the motor cranks just fine and then starts when its cold from overnight parking but when I give it some gas and bring the rpm's up to 1500 for a few seconds it gos away . Also I am not getting a nice strong spark at the plugs and the plugs are ac delco with about 4000 miles on them. The engine does not leak or burn any oil , so spark plug fouling is'nt the issue, and the coil is the original from 1988. Any one with the same problem and replacing the coil fixed the problem please let me know. Thank you for your help, as always, Dan.
