Is this the black and white check valve?(pix) 900

hi,


i was wondering if this the vlave that when i acclerate the a/c cuts out..this is located under the hood by the firewall..if it is..how do i take this valve off the hose..i got the bottom hose off bu the top hose going to the manifold is hard to take off...
