thumping noise 700 1990

1 have a 1990 760t and the right front makes a weird thumping or shuddering noise, i cant figure out what it is. it started when i changed the front shocks did everything by the book. this was over the summer and it began to thump when the car stopped, but now it has sounded worse. i thought the shock was loose but it wasnt. i cant for the life of me figure out what it is. can someone help me out?
