Which is a better starter: DD or PGR? 200 1988

These starters appear interchangable. Two types seem to exist: Bosch SR437X and SR37X. SR437X is a permanent magnet with gear reduction. Bosch SR37X is direct drive. I'm wondering which would last longer (changing starters is such a joy!)
