A/C Compressor Frozen 200 1986

Greetings,

Info: 1986 245GL, B230F, Automatic

The A/C compressor has locked-up/frozen. The A/C has never worked on this car since I bought it 5 years ago. Lack of A/C isn't a problem, as the car is used primarily in the winter. The problem is that the power steering pump is run off of a belt from the A/C compressor. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the A/C compressor spinning so that I can get the power steering pump working? I hate to have to buy a new or even used A/C compressor just to have power steering again.
