So....here comes a mutli part question:
when i speed up to highway speed, 60+mph, and then put the manual in to neutral, the engine revs down but there is a noise that gradually "whines" down....think of the sound like when a train goes by if that helps. It sounds like its around my tires or tranny...I know its not the engine cause i can rev the engine and hear it pickin up then reving down...
Also, i have recently noticed another noise in the center right below gear shift...when i put the car into 1st then 2nd and am picking up speed a clunking noise - whup whup whup - then as i reach 30+ speed the noise dissapears....
Also, very recently i noticed when i put the car into gear, mostly 1 and 2nd, i hear a single, soft, clunck noise.....
ALso...whew...when you can feel every little bump and rock in the road is that usually the springs or the shocks?

Also, can someone reccommend a good shop in the seattle wa area? i have had pretty bad luck with local mechanics.
