Cleaning salvaged parts 200 1988

I've salvaged some parts off an 88 240 DL (B230F enginee)
* Alterantor, coil, distributor
They are all filthy (grease, dirt, etc) and I am not ready to put them in another vehical yet. Can someone please advise how to clean, lube, and or store these type of parts to be able to use them later.
I don't want to have any rust or build up issues.
