Re-soldering ECU???? 200 1986

I have re-soldered many PCB's in all of the relays that I am aware of thanks to advice from Don Foster and others. I was wondweing if it is possible to re-flow the solder in the ECU? I have never read of anyone doing this but I thought I would ask. I presume that there is a PCB in there. I am chasing down electrical gremlens and this is one part that I haven't addressed other than cleaning the connections.
