360 GLT transaxle specs? 1986

Guys, Hi.

I am new to the Volvo thing and am writing from Australia.

I have read elsewhere on the 'net' that the transaxle in the rear of the 360 is in fact from a 240? Obviously there must some difference with respect to the diff arrangement ....

So the questions I have are:

Is this in fact a M46 / M47 with a differential attached on the back?

Does the diff use 1030 / 1031 components?

What gearbox conversions are able to be completed for strength /performance?

Finally, what is avaliable for brake upgrades for the 360?
