Not the way I really wanted to test their effectiveness but here's the story. Pulled out to pass a semi, a PU* or SUV* (don't know which since it was 5:30 AM and dark) tags me pretty hard on the left rear quarter and sends me and the 87 745 towards the concrete center barrier, I quickly overcorrect sending me back toward the tandems of the semi, a little less correction this time and she begins to straighten out, maybe a total of three corrections and we're back in a straight line. Say thank you to the sway bars, IPD overload rear springs and Boge Turbo gas shocks!
OK I think I'm at fault here so I pull over to talk to the driver and find out how much damage I caused. I get out look behind me and he's not there?
Lot's of questions now; Was he driving with his lights out? Was he trying to pass me? Did he have something to hide-no insurance-suspended or no drivers license-stolen vehicle? Looks like I'll never know but now more than ever I'm a believer in IPD sway bars.
Thanks for listening!
