1988 volvo 760 clock runs backwards 700 1988

i just bought a used volvo 1988 760 turbo wagon. now i realize that the stereo is recently installed so that it does not have constant power, therefore no memory. the front right headlight is out and its not the bulb, also the speedometer does not work all the time. I'm about to start troubleshooting any ideas? rft1@humboldt.edu
