antifreez leak from auto trans bell housing? 700

My new to me 91 740 no turbo Volvo wagon started over heating. When looking for the leak it appears to be comming from the drain hole at the bottom of the bell housing. Are there freez plugs at the back of the block? Or is there another suprise awaiting me? Does anyone know Swedish swear word to help me thru this?
