Control arm bushing sound vs. strut top sound? 200

I recently replaced the badly worn ball joints in a 92 240 with 119k on it. The car makes thumping squeaking sounds when going over bumps at slow speeds. In the cold it is much worse. This is why I think it is control arm bushings (i ordered a set from FCP Groton) I also hear about the strut mount making alot of noise. Should this be done at the same time? Or is this the actual culprit?
