I recently bought a 740 gl wagon and drove it approx. 800 miles from Thunder Bay to Windsor Ont ,we had trouble starting it in T Bay ,and while checking power to the injectors we unplugged #1 and the car started on 3 cylinders and ran fine when it was plugged back in ,the car ran excellent on the road ,but required removing the injector wire to restart ,the condition worsened as I neared home and barely made it due to bad idling ,once home the car will not start . There is fuel, there is spark ,and it appears to be timed right on the mark I have since checked a number of components including the ICV ,and I have replaced the #1 injector as well as the O2sensor which came with the car ,Any ideas ? I could use some help . Thanx !
