Mechanic in Twin Cities area?? 200 1987

Anyone know a good mechanic in Mpls./St. Paul area? I have a friend with an '86 740GLE who needs some work done. He asked me for a recomendation of where to go but my brick has only been to a mechanic once in the two years I've owned it. So I turn to you for guidance. Sugestions? Folks to avoid?
