Ideal 240 wagon 200

I have been away a while due to the loss of all my wonderful Swedish iron, but I am back in the market and need to refresh my memory.

Through the help of this site, I acquired a great love for my three beater 240's ('76 sedan, '79 wagon and '82 wagon), but due to various work and personal obligations I have been without one for about 2 years now.

I am searching the perfect daily driver 240 wagon. Here is what I remember and correct me if I forgot or left out anything:

Good...

>'86 rotary AC compressor
>'88 no wiring harness problems and better rust protection

Bad...

All=tailgate wiring issues and hinges that wear out
All=Blower motor...need I say more
All high mileage=Front and rear suspension bushings
5-speed manual=Less robust than 4+OD

I know there are things that I am missing so, please fill me in. I am not afriad to work on any of the above problems (except bushing which the local shop is good at), but I need to remember what to look for. I have at least 10 months in which to find the right car so I am in no hurry.

Of course my dream car would be a 1983 245 with a b23 motor, new wiring harness, crank up windows and manual locks, rotary AC compressor, 4+OD manual and a limited slip rear end. Oh yeah, and a magic endless gas tank...
