Installing door seals 120-130

I'm planning to install some new door seals in my 122 2dr tomorrow (the seal that goes around the edge of the entire door). It looks like the old ones aren't glued in, should I use any glue on the new ones or just slip them into the channels with some silicone? Any tips? I installed the trunk seal today and had a heck of a time with it (had to glue it and got glue everywhere).
