Bit 'O Hesitation when first started 945 T 900

Anything I might look at as regards a bit of a hesitation upon starting of the car. After it's warm, it runs fantastic. But when first started, it can be a bit unnerving when one presses down on the accelerator and little response. Eventually it does get moving but not like when it's warm. Any immediate thougths? Thanks as always. Sorry to be so full of questions, but this is the first Volvo and I'm just getting acquained with the car.
