What windshied brand to buy? I'm confused. 200

I have to replace the windshield on my 1988 240. I phoned around and am confused by the different brands and prices. Some quote Pilkington, PPG, MSV, Safelight, ect. Which is the best, or is there really any difference? Shouldn't they all be made to the same specs?? Richard
