Quick Q: Will a 940auto trans fit in my 91 740 auto? 700

I found a good deal on a used trans, a late model 940 with 70,000miles
automatic. Will it fit in my 740 automatic? (my current trans i think
is an aw70/71, it has P,R,N,D,2,1.) both trans are NA. I dont know much
more about it.
