Several months ago, I inherited a car upon the death of my grandmother. This car was her pride and joy for nearly 25 years. The car was garaged all that time and meticulously maintained. The car only has 54,000 miles on it and is in nearly perfect / showroom condition.

Although the car has tremendous sentimental value to me, it is a third vehicle in a two car home. My wife and I have decided to sell the car, splitting the proceeds among various cousins. There in lays the problem and my question for you. Do you have any idea what a reasonable asking price might be for a car like this? We are at a loss.

Also, I was thinking of placing the car on e-bay and notifying various possibly interested groups and businesses of the auction. I thought of course of posting a note on group bulletin boards and then to e-mail Volvo dealerships around the country. Any thoughts on my marketing idea?
