B23 Turbo -> 140 series (again) 140-160

I know this topic has been plowed thoroughly.. But I just got the b20 out of my 142 in preparation for a good and thurough body repair and as I was looking at the bare firewall and innerfenders it really hit me that putting a freshened b20 back in and hooked up properly isn't going to be an easy or cheap task. Especially since the wiring harness that was in the car has melted insulation in spots and has gifts from previous owners in the form of a rats nest of electrical tape and splicing.

So since I am pretty near square one here why not put in a b23?!

I know some general information of doing a b23 swap into a 140. Like I have to throw on a B20 oil pan, manufacture some motor mounts to stand it up right and get an bellhousing adapter (propably from j parker) to bolt a bw T5 up to it, etc etc

Some specifics I was wondering about are

1) Does one have to change the computer if the b23 is sourced from an AUTO donor? Auto volvos seem to be far more common than manual.
2) Can pre-73 gauges be kept? Or are the senders different

And does anyone know of a good FAQ on the net for this? I know some of you here have done this swap so maybe you have pages that I have missed.

Thanks in advance,

Hudson
